Private Lessons
Students in the music program at Golden Valley High School are strongly encouraged to take private music lessons once a week with a professional instructor.
Research has shown that just one lesson a week improves student playing more than any other factor.
Listed below are several local music instructors available to teach private lessons. This is by no means an all encompassing list, so if you know other private instructors feel free to go with them.
All students who take private lessons on their primary instrument will receive extra credit as documented in the grading policy.
